Its access by plane to Jomsom allows direct access to these extraordinary environments that constitute the arid northern Himalayan slopes. The Bhotia, a population of Tibetan origin, have adapted perfectly and live there carried by their Buddhist beliefs. Many monasteries and monuments attest to this fervor.
